Ron Paul out-Foxed?

by Jason GeorgeRep. Ron Paul and supporters of his presidential bid are in an uproar over what they believe is his exclusion from a televised debate on Jan. 6, two days before the New Hampshire primary.
A joint Boston Globe-University of New Hampshire poll from a week ago has Paul in 5th place in the state, pulling 8 percent of the vote.
An official at the New Hampshire GOP, which is co-sponsoring the event with Fox, said that Paul might still be included, but the planning for the debate was still coming together and it was ultimately Fox’s call.
The Associated Press reported on Thursday that the candidates participating in the 90-minute forum at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, N.H., will be Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Gov. Mike Huckabee, Sen. John McCain, Gov. Mitt Romney and Sen. Fred Thompson. [Click for Original Source]

Ron Paul Gets the Most Searches Online

Ron Paul registers in the single digits in most polls, but he’s the top searched Republican presidential candidate on Google, according to the Web site’s trend history.

A large volume of hits for Paul in the last 30 days are coming from Iowa, as voters there prepare to caucus Jan. 3. The same holds true for most of his rivals, with the exception of Mitt Romney and John McCain….

    Ron Paul needs to run as a libertarian not as a republician. His policy of isoltionism is a refection of his age and has limited merit in todays global community. My close freind is an active supporter of his, but I think he is a cardboard canidate with limited common sense in regards to world affairs. He does not belong on the Republican debate.
