Palindrome

Palindrome is a Greek word that implies that something “runs again.”
It is used for words spelled the same forwards and backwards, like:

Bob

Noon

Radar

And for sentences that do the same:

Madam, I’m Adam.

Ten animals I slam in a net.

Rats live on no evil star.

I just noticed by blog stat number was a palindrome:

  1. Interestingly, organisms have semi-palindromes in their DNA order to mark changeable parts of their DNA.

  2. Another Palindrome for your list: Race car. So where did Johnathan Bartlett learn about that anyhow? Sounds really cool.
