I think it’s ironic that people keep asking if it is better to do something [like what we ARE doing] rather than to do nothing [what they want it to seem like Ron Paul wants].
His point is this: we are down in a ditch, and isn’t it better to dig ourselves in deeper than to start climbing out?
They don’t see liquidation of debt as a start to climbing out because it will end up with massive unemployment.
BUT, the throwing of billions at the problem is going to end up with EVEN MORE MASSIVE unemployment in the future.
Start climbing out now! Even it is a painful climb – we have to stop digging down!
